Description
Fully automatic device that is used for unattended handling and stacking of pallets. The device consists of 4 working units (see below) in the automatic mode of starting the conveyors. The machine can work independently or can be included in the production line behind the SMPA 500.2 ED hammering machine or the SMOP pallet processing line. The device enables simple pallet stacking or stacking by locking with dimensions in widths from 700 mm to 1,200 mm and lengths from 600 mm to 1,500 mm (3,000 mm SMPS for the production of oversized pallets)
Description of the device function:
The operator places the pallet on the infeed conveyor and confirms the start of the process or the pallet enters the stacker fully automatically from automatic hammering machine SMPA 500.2 ED or pallet processing line SMOP. In the first step, the pallet is rotated by 90° on the input conveyor and then transferred unattended to the pallet turner by 180°. The 180° rotation function allows us to stack pallets by locking them together. In simple stacking, the pallet goes into the stacker without overturning. When stacking by locking, we turn every second pallet when moving it to the stacker.
In the stacker, we stack pallets according to the required number entered by the operator on the terminal. After completing the stacking of the specified number of pallets, the stack goes out onto the output conveyor.
The filling of the output conveyor is confirmed by an acoustic siren, then the handling worker cleans the output conveyor using a forklift. The individual motors of the conveyors and the lifting unit are started automatically when the pallet passes, after the work is completed they are switched off until the arrival of the next one.

- option to deactivate for simple stacking
3. Stacker
- driven chain conveyor of moving the pallet to the stacker mechanism
- lifting the pallet using a hydraulic unit, fixing the stack using spikes
4. Output conveyor
- driven slat conveyor designed to balance stacks of pallets from a stacker
- optional output conveyor length 2m, 3m, 4m and 5m
