Large-capacity universal pallet production line SMHC-LINE

Description

We produce high-capacity lines SMHC – Line in two model series. Firstly, a line made up of two automatic hammering machines with the possibility of mechanically adjusting the line to different types and sizes of pallets, and secondly, a fully universal line, which is made up of three automatic hammering machines with the advantage of quick adjustment using electric motors to different types and sizes of pallets. The capacity of the line is around 2,000 pallets per shift (8 hours). The production lines optionally include a SMOP processing line and an SMPS stacker. The high-capacity line can be assembled in various modifications according to the wishes of customers.

The high-capacity SMHC-Line, composed of three hammering machines, offers a solution wherever the need for maximum versatility, and is intended for beating pallets of various types and sizes.

The complete line in full equipment is made up of modules enabling efficient production of pallets with minimal line maintenance. Versatility is made possible by the assembly of a line of three hammering machines producing individual parts of the pallet.

First of all, the production of the upper lid on the SMPA – 3 Deck machine, which is automatically manipulated and placed on the distributed cubes in the subsequent hammering machine SMPA – 1. This hammering machine is supplied with cubes from the cutting center and this center is supplied with prisms by means of a vacuum manipulator. The next step is nailing the lid and distributing the pallet to another SMPA – 2 hammering machine, where the bottom plates of the pallet are automatically placed using a vacuum manipulator.

After the operation of nailing the bottom boards is completed, the pallet goes to the machining line for corner trimming, character burning and milling lower ramps.

The last part of the line is the stacker, allowing the choice of the number of pallets in the stack and also the possibility to store pallets in a stack simply on each other or locked into each other. The output of the line are stacks of pallets on the output conveyor, ready to be picked up by a forklift.

The priority of the production line is, first of all, operator safety, low energy requirements and production precision, namely both nail shapes and the final palette.

Link description:

The line includes three hammering machines of modern, robust construction using an electro-mechanical system for hammering pallets . The machines work with loose nails and, thanks to the electromechanical drive, have the lowest energy consumption of 3.6 kWh (each 1.2 kWh) in their class. The machines are equipped with a box with 10 and 12 outlets. In the boxes, there is automatic switching and dosing of nails to the pushing units (hammers). The boxes have a central guide setting for the distribution and shifting of nails of all tracks according to the use of different nail diameters. The accuracy of hammering is within the tolerance of +/- 1 mm and min. nail spacing is min. 25 mm. The hammers can be adjusted according to the needs of different nail shapes.

 

Description of the assembly of individual parts of the line:
 

 
 

1. The vacuum manipulator is used to load prisms onto the transverse input chain conveyors cutting the saw. The loading process works in automatic mode and the loader operates two cutting saws. According to the assignment, it transfers a layer of prisms from individual plays to saw conveyors and automatically summarizes the stabilization translation.

2. Shortening saws are used to cut cubes. In the case of different widths of cubes on the manufactured pallet, each of the saws cuts one dimension of cubes. The process of loading prisms from transverse chain conveyors into sawmills works in automatic mode, and the operator only sets the required length of the cube. At the exit from the shortace saw separation of the front and back chips and the remains of the cubes is less than the required degree. Cut-off saws work within a length tolerance of /- 1 mm. min./max. length of input prisms 1250 mm – 4200 mm. min./max. width of prisms 60 mm – 145 mm. min./max. height of prisms 60 mm – 100 mm.

3. The connecting non-level conveyor is intended for the distribution of cubes from individual shortening saws to the shifting conveyor. The shortening saw that supplies the middle channel of the shifting conveyor is equipped with a fixed conveyor channel. The shortening saw that supplies the end channels of the shift conveyor has a sliding conveyor channel and alternately supplies the end channels of the subsequent shift conveyor.

 

4. The shifting conveyor with the cube loader creates a sufficient supply of cubes in front of the line of the 1st SMPA stacking machine – 1. The cube loader mechanically grabs individual cubes and puts them into the SMPA conveyor – 1. The loader has the function of turning the cube by 90 ° and that of all three cubes, or, depending on your choice, the middle or outermost cubes.

5. The hammering machine SMPA – 3 produces pallet lids. The operator puts the longitudinal and transverse (muscle) boards into the hoppers. The automatic hammering machine hammers the lids in the transverse direction according to the setting of the lid size on the control panel of the machine. The machine is equipped with a box with 12 outlets. In the hammering pattern of the lid, where the nails only go into the fascia board, the pattern is final with all the nails. Only 1 fixing nail is used in the shapes where the nails subsequently enter the blocks of the finished pallet. The hammering machine has the possibility of using standard convex, screw and smooth machine nails with the function of Bending through nails. After the beating operation, the lid goes into the lid stacker.

6. The lid stacker is located behind the automatic hammering machine SMPA – 3, which guarantees the creation of a sufficient supply of lids for the subsequent production operations of hammering pallets .

7. The connecting conveyor serves for the distribution of lids from the stacker to the device for inserting the lids into the beating line.

8. The device for inserting lids performs the operation of grabbing the lid from the stack, turning it by 90 °, moving it to the space of the SMPA input conveyor – 1 and placing the lid on already placed cubes.

 

9. The hammering machine SMPA – 1, which includes an input conveyor, transports cubes from the loader of the shifting conveyor to the area where the equipment for inserting the lids will save the lids on the cubes. The input conveyor works continuously with 7 templates that ensure the exact placement of the cubes in the pallet shape. In the space, the loading of the lids and the entry of the upper part of the pallet into the compaction machine SMPA – 1 is ensured by a system of mechanical guides, the precise placement of the lid on the cubes, followed by the positioning of the pallet to the individual compaction steps. The machine is equipped with a box with 10 outlets. The hammering machine has the option of using standard convex and screw nails. The upper part of the pallet comes out of the stacking machine into the area of ​​the subsequent pallet turner.

10. The 180 ° pallet turner performs 1 pallet turning and insertion operation after the upper part of the pallet exits the SMPA compactor to the conveyor of the compactor SMPA – 2.

11. Equipment for preparation and insertion detects the manipulation of the bottom plates of the legs in the line of beating. Performs the operation of placing, grasping and moving the bottom boards into the space of the SMPA – 2 input conveyor and placing the boards on the pallet cubes.

12. The hammering machine SMPA – 2, which includes an input conveyor, transports the finished part of the upper pallet from the turner 180 ° to the space where the preparation and loading device places the bottom boards on the pallet cubes. The input conveyor works continuously with 7 templates that ensure precise positioning of the pallet. In the space, the loading of bottom boards and the entry of the pallet into the hammering machine SMPA – 2, is ensured by a system of mechanical guides, the exact placement of the bottom boards on the pallet, followed by the positioning of the pallet for the individual hammering steps. The machine is equipped with a box with 10 outlets. The hammering machine has the option of using standard convex and screw nails. The complete finished pallet goes from the stacking machine to the input conveyor of the processing line, where the pallet enters the sign burning device.

 

13. The connecting stairs serve as a line bridge for a possible transition to the other side of the line.

14. The device for burning palette characters is used for burning max. 6 characters per palette. It is possible to choose the number of burned characters. High-performance heating spirals ensure high-quality and fast burning of signs. If the pallet marking is not needed, the given section can be deactivated.

15. Equipment for cutting pallet corners are used to cut pallet corners. If there is no need to trim the palette, the given section can be deactivated.

16. The device for milling the bottom edges of pallets is used for milling the edges of the bottom plates. If there is no need to mill the pallet, the given section can be deactivated.

17. 90° rotator takes the pallets from the milling equipment section and performs a 90° pallet rotation to prepare the pallet for stacking and possible pallet locking.

18. 180 ° turner device designed to turn pallets for simple stacking and enable the function of locking pallets into a stack. In the case of simple stacking, each pallet is turned and when choosing to lock the pallets, the pallets in the given turner are locked by 180 °.

19. The pallet stacker allows you to stack pallets on top of each other, simply one on top of the other, or takes locked pallets from the turner by 180 °.

 

20. The output chain conveyor serves to balance stacks from the stacker. Pallets can be picked up from the side of the conveyor or from the front. The conveyor allows the stack to be called to the clearing position using the remote control.
